Senior Journalist Pradeep Sardana receives Gaurav Shiromani Award
New Delhi, 27th April 2016-
Senior Journalist, Editor- Punarvas, and well known Film Critic Mr. Pradeep
Sardana was honored with the prestigious Gaurav Shiromani Award. Mr. Sardana
has received this honor, for his outstanding contribution in the field of
Journalism and Social Service, at NDMC auditorium, New Delhi, by well known
magician P.C Sarkar, Samrat Shankar and Ashok Kharbanda, in South Asian
Nations' 3rd SAARC Magic Festival. Organized by IBM and Jaadu Kala
Trust, the event was graced by 250 magicians and artists from India and abroad.
Mr. Sardana has been in the field of
Journalism, from last 40 years, and had started his career at a young age of
just 13 years. He has been the youngest editor in the country. When he started
the first publication of his newspaper Punarvas, he was just 17 years old. He
has written more than 10,000 articles, 1200 cover stories, with numerous
reports and interviews for almost all leading and prestigious
newspapers-magazines of country, including Times of india, Navbharat Times,
Hindustan, Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala, Jansatta, Lokmat Samachar, Dainik
Tribune, Hari Bhoomi, Rajasthan Patrika, Sandhya times, and India Today,
Saptahik Hindustan, Dharmayug etc. Also, he had started the journalism on TV in
India. Mr. Sardana has been also associated with Electronic Media since 1980.
Currently he has been associated with almost all leading News Channels as Panelist
and Film-TV Expert, and producing-directing documentaries for various channels
as well. Being the President of Aadharshila- a group of writers, journalists
and artists, he has been working to bring in fame various talents of nation,
and contributing in the fields of Art, Society and Literature.
